As you probably know, this week is Black Friday (or even Black Week in many stores and businesses!). This period of sales from the United States has gradually become established in France too, in stores but also in businesses.
At Diligence Consulting, we have decided after reflection not to participate in these sales, and therefore not to offer discounts on our services at this time. However, we wanted to explain our reasoning to you in order to be 100% transparent with you!
Black Friday vs Diligence: Nonsense?
Black Friday is about offering discounts, usually on products, for a short period of time (a few days on average).
As a consulting firm, we believe that this type of sales does not really make sense for us: our services are generally carried out over months, they are personalized consulting offers that bring us closer to the organizations, and for us, this type of quality cannot be devalued without real reasons. Black Friday being a commercial period that comes from stores and the sale of products, it has no particular links with business development, quality or strategic consulting, which are our core businesses.
We want to maintain our positioning around the quality and value of consulting and support services, and this is why we do not have sales at generally favorable times, such as Black Friday, or Christmas which is also coming soon.
But be careful, this does not mean that we do nothing to make our services accessible, quite the contrary! We simply prefer to do it in a way that makes more sense to us.
Diligence supports individual entrepreneurs and VSEs
At Diligence Consulting, we all come from a 'solopreneurship' background. All three of us know what it's like to be independent, trying to grow your business alone, without much means, and still needing help.
This is why we have decided to implement strategies throughout the year to make our services more accessible:
- So we always offer several types of offers, including complete Premium support, but also always less expensive offers, which allow small budgets to still be advised on the most important points.
- In addition, we always make a commercial gesture for independent entrepreneurs, by offering them 10% on the price excluding VAT, in order to support them and make our services more accessible. This decision comes from the fact that we have all been or still are, for some, independent entrepreneurs, and that we know well the difficulties of getting support in this case. For us, it is unthinkable that good entrepreneurs, with useful and serious companies, cannot benefit from support or help.
- We also implement payment facilities, particularly for very small businesses, so that our customers can spread out their payments, without any additional costs.
- Finally, there is nothing more precious than our customers. And for this reason, we also give a small discount to customers who come back to us afterwards and who thus show great confidence in us and in our advice.
These are the measures that we have chosen to put in place to financially support our customers, and this because we believe them to be more effective and accessible than sales at certain times, in any case for the type of services that we offer!
