Most of the difficulties institutions face do not appear during execution. They are already present in the first decision.
Before committing resources, an institution must determine whether its trajectory can be recognised, defended, and sustained. Arché is the institutional determination that precedes any execution.

The Arché determination
Arché determines whether an institution should enter, when it should enter, and under which conditions its trajectory will remain defensible.
Why Arché exists
You may already have chosen your premises. Started your programmes. Prepared your communication. No one has yet determined whether this trajectory can be defended.
Across the mandates conducted by the House, one observation returns. The difficulties rarely come from ambition. They appear when a structuring decision has been made before being determined.
Arché exists to determine a trajectory before it needs to be rebuilt.
What we most often observe
You may already have signed a lease. Set up a company. Recruited a director. Announced the opening. Filed a programme. Sought a recognition.
Each of these decisions was defensible on its own. Together, they do not always form a trajectory that is.
When the House is engaged after several months of work, it most often returns to a decision made at the very start of the project.
It is almost always to that first decision that one must return.
Three situations, one trajectory
The common thread is not nationality. It is a European trajectory that passes through France.
First decision
You are preparing your first establishment in France.
Your programmes are ready, your investors expect a timeline. French institutional legibility has not yet been determined.

You already know higher education, in France or elsewhere. You assume the rest will follow. It rarely does.

Decisions taken in the wrong order can delay a project by several months and lead to reorientations representing hundreds of thousands of euros in investment.
In some trajectories already under execution, the cumulative cost of reorientation exceeds €300,000. In the most exposed situations, it approaches €800,000.
Two trajectories read after execution had begun
An institution incorporated before its trajectory had been determined. The legal vehicle it chose closed recognition paths it would later need. The structure was valid. The trajectory built on it was not.
A lease was signed before the territory had been read. Commercially the site was sound. Institutionally it could not be defended. The lease ran while the project waited for a trajectory it did not yet have.
Neither institution lacked ambition. Both committed before their trajectory had been determined. That is the order Arché exists to reverse.

The most valuable verdict is often NOT YET.
NOT YET opens the way to institutional architecture. NO GO closes. All three outcomes are real, and the reading names one.

What happens after the request

Institution, decision-making role, and question requiring determination. The House examines the request. If the determination process is opened, the invoice and access protocol are issued.
